The SOS Band facilitates contemporary worship through music during weekly contemporary/blended worship at the 4:00pm Saturday services at Hope Central Campus. SCB is an extended rhythm section with background singers, dedicated to an upbeat approach to worship through various sub-styles of contemporary Christian and modern worship music. Our band includes vocalists with a passion for this music genre, and instrumentalists who share that passion and play guitar, drums, keyboard, and percussion. Additional skilled instrumentalists and vocalists are always being considered for future development.
Who can join?
Any instrumentalists and/or vocalists with appropriate background and/or interests can join. Email musicupdate@hope4all.church to express your interest.
What’s the time commitment?
Unlike most other department choral groups, the band interacts and rehearses year-round, twice a week. The rehearsals take place Thursday mornings and Saturday afternoons. On occasion, the group may contribute music to other events as well.
