The Hope Lake Weir Campus Food Pantry is a thriving ministry serving Marion County residents. The Food Pantry started in 2018 by Pastor Rani and his wife Sami. Today, with the help of the volunteers, the food pantry serves more than 23,000 individuals a year, providing them with shelf-stable food, meat, produce, toiletries, hygiene items and even pet food. With the generosity of Hope members and the community, the Food Pantry gives out more than 18,000 bags of food a year. The Food Pantry is now affiliated with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida who is a partner of Feeding America.
The food pantry is staffed by Debbie Schuettler, Operations Manager, and dedicated volunteers.

Donations
Donations of food and other items are accepted at all three Hope campuses.
Hope Central Campus: Bins outside Fellowship Hall.
Hope Lake Weir Campus: Bin by front door.
Hope at Everglades Rec. Center (during service only): Bin by ballroom door.
Cash donations are also accepted. Checks can be made out to Hope Lutheran Church with Food Pantry noted in the memo line. You may also give online.
